Create Your own Lovely Watercolor Painting!

With clear step-by-step video instruction from the very beginning to the final touches, you’ll be so excited by your very own work of art!

These courses are designed for smaller paintings that are done in a shorter single sitting.  (Of course, you can make them larger and you can take as long as you’d like to create the finished painting!)

The suggested supplies are mentioned below in the question section.  You do not have to use what I suggest, but you will hear me refer to those specific supplies in the videos. And if a simple household substitute is available for supplies, I’ll mention that too.

Whether you are new to watercolor painting, or you have prior experience, you’ll enjoy the clear video instruction which includes tips on technique, color choices, and finishing. You’ll be excited by your finished work of art!

Success inspires success!  This mini-course will inspire you to keep developing your skills as you find joy in the creative process!

If I have no experience, will I be able to do this?

Whether or not you have experience, the videos are designed so that you can follow along at your own pace.  The explanations are clear and you’ll be able to see what to do as well. Many students I’ve taught have not had experience, but they have created lovely paintings.

What supplies will I need?

You may already have supplies you can use, but I do have some suggestions for a great outcome, and these supplies are what you’ll see in the videos.

  • Paint:  Yarka, semi-moist watercolors (12 colors).  I like this brand because it is not costly and because the colors are vibrant.
  • Watercolor paper – 140# cold or hot press. The size painting in the videos is approx 5×7″, which is easily matted to fit an 8×10″ frame.  But you can easily change the size.
  • A palette to mix colors.  This can be an inexpensive plastic palette, or something as simple as a paper plate (though I would use a paper plate without pattern or color and a brand that is coated so it does not absorb the paint.)
  • Brush or brushes.  The Yarka paints come with a round brush, which is sufficient. However, additional brushes are optional.Other supplies you’ll have at home:
  • Water and a container for it
  • A small piece of tape
  • A colored pencil or pen
  • A graphite pencil (the darker the better)
  • Paper towel

When you open the course, you’ll find a supply list which has some easy links to follow to purchase supplies.

I don't think I can draw the image, how will I put the image onto the watercolor paper?

You don’t need to be able to draw, although if you wish to you can.  I supply the traceable pattern to follow and show you how to transfer the image without needing drawing skills.

Can I sell my painting when I've finished it?

The image you are painting is one that I have created and therefore is not one that you can sell.  But, you can give it as a gift or frame it for your own use!

Is there a money back guarantee?

Yes.  If you decide this is not for you within 7 days after you purchase, let me know by email and you will be refunded.  However, I think once you start the course and follow the videos you’ll be amazed at what you are able to do!

How long do I have to create the painting?

You will have full access to the videos and all the downloadable materials for a whole year!   That means you can revisit it as often as you wish.
